What Is Veterans Aid & Attendance Benefit?
Veteran Affairs (VA) Aid & Attendance Benefits may be available to a Wartime Veteran or the Surviving Spouse of a Veteran, providing that the honorably discharged Veteran is 65 or older & served a minimum of 90 days of active duty with at least one day at wartime. In addition, the Veteran or his widow must also meet other means testing criteria for their income and assets.
 

You may be entitled to a significant monthly income, ranging from $1,056 - $1,949* TAX FREE per month from the Veterans Administration. This monthly check could help a Veteran or spouse of a Veteran with Assisted Living or Independent Living expenses.
